Ice Age: The Meltdown
Ice Age: The Meltdown is the sequel to the first "Ice Age" movie and continues the adventures of Sid, Diego, and Manny. Although everyone thinks that the Earth will not become hot again, or at least for not a long time, global warming causes all of the ice from the Ice Age to melt. The trio must leave with their herd to find a safe haven, but that becomes increasingly difficult with ice continuing to melt and with prehistoric monsters back from the dead. On their journey to find safety, Manny, who wants to meet another mammoth, runs into another mammoth, but she believes that she is a possossum.
This movie is a pretty good movie, but definitely not as good as the first. The movie's plot is not as feel-good, original, creative, exciting, or as interesting as the original. But this movie is a decent sequel, and will continue to encourage and inspire the same fans of the first.
