Madonna - Music MAG
For the past 17 years the reigning Queen of Pop Music hasbeen none other than Madonna, with 125 million albums sold and over 30 top-tenhits to prove it. Madonna's latest album is "Music," the follow-up to1998's smash "Ray of Light."
This time around, Madonna returnsto her dance roots with a touch of 21st-century electronica. "Music" isvery funky. The lyrics are more emotional and intimate than before. It's almostas if she's telling you about her special someone in the folky track "IDeserve It," a mellow but comforting ballad.
The interesting thingabout Madonna's music is that she writes all her own material, which reflects herlife during that particular time. Her chameleon looks and colorful videos back upher music.
Whether you adore or despise her, Madonna is a part ofhistory: a legend in her own time.
