White Album: Classic Reviews by The Beatles
The two disc special that the highly know The Beatles produced is a massive release. In this one they went for more of a prog rock and heavy metal style of music. In fact this is regarded as one of the first heavy metal albums in the world, you know before Black Sabbath was ever popular. This is a very good release might I add. With a total of 34 tracks from both discs combined we have a fantastic album. I own the album myself and as a Christmas present, which is amazing in my case.
In the case of the album you have something for everyone from the heavy sounds of Revolution and Helter Skelter to the melodic epics like While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Blackbird and Rocky Raccoon. I do recommend this album to any Beatles fan. Sadly, I don't think it's as good as Sgt. Pepper. 9.9/10
