Moon EP by Moon
This 20 minute EP by the atmosheric black metal band Moon doen't play around. Now if your familiar with bands like Agalloch, Fen, Midnight Odyssey and a couple others that I can name, you may know that atmospheric black metal is all about the synths taking role. This EP includes a total of three tracks all have the exact same name but with a number stuck on at the end. Unlike many other bands of this type, the tracks on here aren't very long to say the least, the longest one is only about 7:30. Now consistering this is an EP, you wouldn't expect anything to be very long, not even the tracks, for once. They may all sound the same at first but some bands aren't like that at least when it comes to atmospere. Even still, it is brutal for a reason, it is heavy for a reason, and it isn't too long for those of you with crap attention spans.
I'd have to say great release, I will give it an 8.5/10
