The Animated Series "Adventure Time"
The animated series Adventure Time, for merely known as Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, has become an instant success on cartoon network. The series is based on an animated short titled “Adventure Time” and finally in 2008 got the ok for a series. The series focuses on the surreal adventures undertaken by two best friends; Finn and Jake the plot takes place in a place known as land of Ooo, which is full of surreal characters with fantasy and post-apocalyptic elements. Best friends Finn, a 12 year old boy, and Jake a wise 28 year old dog with magical powers, set out to be righteous adventurers. Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and Jake (voiced by john DiMaggio) encounter many adventures that typically involve saving princesses fighting evil monsters, exploring dungeons, and helping people in need. On these adventures they meet many unique and unforgettable characters that have many characteristics that set this animated series apart from all others. For example princess bubblegum (voiced by Hayden Walch) who rules candy kingdom and seems friendly and sweet at times, but in an instant can become angry and bad tempered, or her loyal majestic half rainbow, half unicorn steed lady rainicorn (voiced by Nikki yang). Other characters include The Ice King (voiced by tom Kenny) who is Finn an jakes primary antagonist who is always kidnapping princesses in hopes they’ll become his wife and threatens them if they refuse, or Marceline the vampire queen (voiced by Olivia Olson) who also turns against Finn an Jake.
This show is for all audiences young and old. It has those fantasy-like aspects. I enjoyed this show ever though it was a cartoon, I would give it three out of five. Every will like this show and I recommend it to anyone.
