Waiting For The Bell
The dreadful moments of watching the clock for the time to pass in class was perfectly embellished by Soma Chu in her article, "Waiting for the Bell." As a student, I have had the exact experiences that the article so vividly depicts. "After 45 minutes, also known as 45 years," as written by Soma is only one of several hyperboles that touches on the raw emotion that almost every single student has had at least once in their class. On top of that there is guilt taht was shown in her memoir as it shows how we should feel guilt for dreading this,"opportunity to get an education." I enjoyed the parallels of my emotions in real life to that of her article. Thank you Soma for this perfect portration of a student's struggle at school.
