1st And 10 MAG
We receive the opening kickoff
At the twenty-yard line or so.
The offense comes on to the field,
First down and ten yards to go.
The first play is a tricky one,
The coach decides to throw.
A double reverse pass, it works!
First down and ten yards to go.
Now we're on our own thirty-five,
Only sixty-five yards to go.
The fullback broke a tackle to make it
First down and ten yards to go.
Our fullback gets the ball,
He's carried it twice in a row.
He does it again, now it's
First down and ten yards to go.
We line up on the fifty.
Third down, and the drive begins to slow.
But we run a quarterback sneak! so it's
First down and ten yards to go.
The clock is running down
And it's beginning to snow.
Coach calls for a time out, so it remains
First down and ten yards to go.
Back on the field now,
Our quarterback wants to throw.
He looks deep, lets it loose,
First down and ten yards to go.
The quarterback takes the snap,
His blood begins to flow,
Hand-off up the middle,
TOUCHDOWN! and no more yards to go.
