Music Lover
Summary:
There are so many things in his life that Asher doesn’t want to hear, and so few things that he does. In the end, he chooses to ignore all of it, retreating inside himself, with headphones covering his ears, music blocking everyone else out. That’s how his days pass by, background music muffling every other person’s voice.
But then David breaks through, quite on purpose. David pulls Asher out of his private, constricted world, and brings him into David’s.
In many ways, he saves him, but in other ways, this change stirs up the tenuous balance Asher has been living with in his home.
