The Package
One day,
During the start of a rollercoaster summer
I was peeking through the window anxiously like waiting to get out of school
I was walking in circles and peeking every minute
Until I finally spotted its red, blue, and white colors.
I waited impatiently like a dog waiting for its owner
I waited
and waited
Until “DING DONG!”
I ran to the door as fast as the flash with a big smile and happy as ever
But when I opened the door my smile faded
It was my uncle holding the package not the mailman.
I looked at the ground as I got a menacing and disappointed look from my uncle as it was just us that lived together
I took the package from my uncle hands
And walked outside to the trash can
And threw the package in the trash can
But I was still guilty of stealing from my uncle.
After that day,
I decided to make it up to my uncle
Which I’m still doing now
But from that moment I learned to never steal again.
