Ode to Writers block
The Paper is so flimsy
The pen is just to heavy
My fingers clasp around it
Cold and clammy or so it seems
The cap is shredded from teeth so sharp
The images come again
The words flash by to fast
They leave me drained and senseless
This pain is all to real
My fingers drop the pen so used
Falling to the floor with a clatter
The walls go up and block the thoughts
Emotions not the same
It blocks out words and pictures
And forces out the pain
This wall goes up much to often
Killing this young writers mind
Oh...
The Joys of Writers Block
