You say it’s fake, it doesn’t add up; it’s a myth

Well, you’re just like Judas,

Betraying Jesus with a simple kiss.

You think it’s stupid and it might be so,

But at least Stop

And give me a chance to tell you what I know

I know that Jesus’s whole purpose was to come and save the world,

But all of you shun him, closing your doors.

Everything in the word happened,

It’s not a product of someone’s thoughts

But when your time comes,

God will tell you, “Depart I know you not”

I know that when my time comes, he’ll say:

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

He’ll know who I am and let me stay.

It’s not magic and Jesus isn’t some fairy-godmother

But he’ll give you something better than any other

It’s not fame, money, or physical riches

It’s not a fancy car or a maid to do the dishes.

It’s the ability to live without fear

It’s following God even when the path’s not clear

It’s knowing that Jesus has a purpose for you

You say it’s made up; it can’t be true

But just wait and see what God can do
