Staring blankly down the halls, blending in amongst the thousands.
Passing by fellow classmates and putting on a fake smile.
Although he may seem full of life, he is simply not there.

This is written in a Korean poetic form called sijo. There are 14-16 syllables in each of the three lines for a total of 44-46 syllables. I wrote this based off the many feelings teens have these days being subjected to society today.
