My Regrets
ith every slight look
i see the hurt
bleed from your eyes
in the form of tears
and my guilt flushes in
and your body lay
representing such a motionless being
and all together it presents
a sight i cant bear to see
you pay no attention to stare
forced to wonder
i wish i didnt care
your words hit me
your beauty touches me
your pain kills me
but your tears keep me going
i hear your screams
at all hours in my time
and i dont go to your rescue
my hands shake
and my body trembles
but i remain in a stonewall state
i cant break this barrier
keeping you from i
above this brick wall
stands the happiness we week
but this isnt it
my bones snap as i grow weak
i try to save you
save us
but i have nothing left
im not too good with words
so i grab a paper
with my knuckles bleeding
my DNA becomes my ink
my heart becomes my feather
i write;
"im sorry"
and leave it where you loved me
