I wandered lonely as a taxi in the old country
Just zipping by town
Thought I’d stop by
Everyone else was trapped in stagecoaches
The carriages inched by, citizens gazing at the rubble road
People waved their stalks of corn
I’d never be hungry
The rearview mirrors reflected the path behind me
Objects are farther than they appear
