I saw you in the hallway as a timid freshman boy
And when you friend-requested me, it brought me tears of joy
As I view your standard info; all your quotes, your favorite shows
Your profile songs and photos, my infatuation grows
My love, I tried to tell you. I clicked “like” for every post
In hopes that I could show you that it's you I “like” the most
We chatted until midnight, in that little purple box
And I got so excited at those little message *pops*
Today I felt the time had come, I'd worked through all the fear
I'd confess my total love for you – online, of course, my dear
After half an hour of chatting, I just stowed away my pride
Cracked my knuckles, said a prayer, then took a breath and sighed
And as I typed “I love you” and prepared to click on Send
Your relationship status named the name of my best friend
Now my Wall has been demolished, and my News Feed has been fed
I might as well just log off, do my homework, go to bed
Because my love is unprofessed, you will not make amends
But as long as you stay on that list, we'll always still be Friends
But because I want this broken heart somewhere that you will look
I've uploaded my broken heart to your new boyfriend's Facebook

Whoa, well written!
I like how you based it on Facebook activities and the way the poem progresses - I'm sure a million people would have undergone this :)
Well-done! :P
