Band Room
I walk into the band room
Chairs placed everywhere.
In the corner sits Nico,
Playing that Tuba nonstop.
Samantha and Monica stare at the computer attntively,
While Kelsey continues to talk excitedly to Monica.
We sometimes find broken reeds on the floor,
And become disgusted by the mess.
Soon, I find myself spinning a rifle
Occasionally, even picking up a flag.
Later, we all just sit down and listen to music,
Enjoying each others' company.
I wouldn't trade this room and the times shared for the world.
