Making a Scene
Find something to be angry about,
Like a bad day at work.
Make a phone call to the person
Who irks you the most,
Maybe you don’t have the best history.
While trying to make amends,
Invite them to dinner.
Choose a very elegant restaurant
And make reservations.
At dinner with that irritating person,
Try to argue quietly, at first.
Next explode in that person’s face,
Sprinkling in useless occurrences of the past.
Storm out leaving the bill
And that person.
Congratulations,
You have just made a scene.
