Should I close my eyes, and never open them again?
Should I hold my breath, and forget to take another?
Should I lay my heart on the line for it to end up shattered?
Is that what you would've wanted? Did I even matter?
You tell me that you loved, but can't tell me you do still.
If I were to die today, would you still keep your mouth sealed?
I've never claimed to be the best,
But let's put this to the test.
If I were to cease to exist tomorrow,
Would you be pleased? Or would you feel sorrow?
