Guilt
It pursues your conscience as if to seek revenge
not one moment wasted from despair,
nor one second saved from time spent clouded with
anxiety
you think, this isnt guilt, its fear of what's to come
or maybe even both.
it is what it is, and that's not good
until its over, and that feeling goes away,
that feeling in your stomach you thought would always stay
life really isn't like this
no it is much more
much more than guilt and sorrow
much more than we hope for
you forget about those times
times you thought you might die
you turn a new leaf for a new day
because eventually, everything would turn out okay
