My shoes slapping the ground
Thrusting forward
Nothing could ever stop me
Even for a second.

My breath is short and cold
Pacing myself
Each step a new feeling
But only for a second.
Splat
My body wants to quit
Losing energy
But my heart will never
Not even for a second.
Running
Running everywhere
But nowhere
Through the elements
Nothing will ever stop me
