The New Life of Spring

March 16, 2008

My soul aches to feel the touch of warmth from the sun.
My body trembles at the sight of fresh green grass.
My mind reels at the last time of fun,
My heart begins to feel of polished brass.
My soul soars with the winding wind through the trees.
My body tingles at the touch of soft dewy petals.
My mind defrost, no more sadness it sees.
My heart leaps and fills with rare precious metals.
My soul is still as the clouds float in an ocean of blue.
My body relaxes as it is hugged by an oak of old.
My mind is rewarded the peace it is due.
My heart is melted to purified gold.
I am anew with the Life of Spring.
