Behind & Beyond
Leaving behind the unopened doors
of the many beautiful broken hearts
brutally shattered like glass upon the floor
behind the unopened doors, beyond
whispers,images,& more
Beyond the unopened doors
of the many beautiful broken hearts
framed on every wall
a window of what could have been, paintings of all the memories she had recalled
A window of memories with meaning so large
yet shut behind a hopeless window so small
Beyond the unopened doors
of the many beautiful broken hearts
Through the memorizing windows
the one on every wall
A world had been created
walls made of stone built to fall
white gleaming stars painted delicately against the velvet sky
a mirage of happiness, washed away by the numbing cold tears that had fallen from immense blue eyes
Beyond the unopened doors
of the many beautiful broken hearts
Through the memorizing windows
the one on every wall
Past the world that had been created
yet had crumbled and was left to fall
lies a harmless, helpless girl
with a voice sweeter than what any piano could ever play
the breath taken from her
so she no longer is able to speak the lost words of what she no longer feels the need to say
when emptiness and hurt mean nothing but an adjective upon a page
your at the point where every drop of comfort is nestled in pain
for no longer is there any rare rose
for the flower has gone extinct, the beauty that was yours
its all been abandoned clearly
behind the unopened doors
