A Fantasy
Her future, an arrow that shoots straight; ready to hit her target.
Wanting so many things, it’s hard to focus; to choose.
Overwhelmed, she can’t decide on what she wants to be.
There are just too many things that she foresees.
Her hearts leads her in one direction,
But there are other things that persuade her.
Music is a part of her life, her heart, and soul.
This decision can make such a heavy toll.
Her thoughts, different notes in her mind’s orchestra.
Creating her life’s songs
The only thing is, is that she wants to do so much more.
Writing away on paper, she wants to share her creations with the world.
Filling the pages with her dreams.
The words spilling onto paper, but that’s not all that it seems.
A literacy teacher organized and smart.
Teaching her students, in mind and in heart.
Teaching kids words, sentences, and more.
Filling their minds with English, mi amore.
From 9-5 she’s teaching her classes.
Signing some passes.
But switching from 5-9 she’s writing away.
Writing a world into a whole new day.
Her own special way.
Her mind a filing cabinet, storing her memories.
Her goals are the foundation of her life.
She wants, more than anything in the world,
A bright future, potential, and more.
How can she accomplish so many things.
When people can hurt her, create so many dings.
Denting, bruising, folding her confidence.
But she won’t stop fighting, to be known in her province.
Good luck to her, I wish with my heart.
She just needs to play her part.
For now, in life, she may be small.
But soon enough she won’t be little at all.
Keeping true to herself
The crazy, funny, loving person that she is and
always will be,
Keeping those thoughts in her own little fantasy.
