Identical
My fear deepens as I look around
I can’t tell the difference
I don’t see a change
Everything seems normal
But nothing is right
Everyone is identical
Just as the plain as the next
I don’t feel unique; I want to be noticed
But how can I when we all look alike?
Equal, just the same, and bored of ourselves
Dullness in our eyes, we don’t see any variation
Lifelessness in our souls from the lack of expectations
Nothing to look forward to but the same thing everyday
Same faces, same actions, same feelings
Never changing
I don’t want to be like everyone else
I don’t want to be the same
I want to be different
