Perfection lays beside me while she sleeps,
Reminding me that, in life,
I do not need to be bitter of my
Negative past; the time I spent with
Cruel lovers that never loved me.
Even though she does not believe it,
She is my hero.
She is my home, with arms that
Close around me when I am grieving,
Huddling to safety, crying to the emotional moon.
Laying beside me is my heart, my soul, my breath
Of fresh air, clearing my
Ever clouded lungs of anxious smoke.
