Dreams
Your ambitions,
Why do such things
Wear in time
With your soul?
-Diamond to coal.
You grow taller,
Your frequency freezes
In time with
The music
Of your essence.
No more florescence.
Crescent moon,
Waning,
We are doomed abroad
The mighty fog.
All becoming like you,
Like them.
Gnome fingers,
All snowflakes
Are different,
No one mistake.
But now all false tans,
Reliant on social media fans.
What happened to world peace?
There's a microscopic crease,
Folding over fold,
Heart untold.
Dreams sold.
