Thoughts of an Optomistic Day Dreamer
As you daze off in class wishing for end,/
the teacher spots you, gaining attention./
Showing attitiude, you follow the trend,/
Sooner or later, you find you have detention./
Come 2:20, you are stuck after school,/
head in your arms, dazing off once again./
If only you weren't slow like a mule./
If you you were to make school your new campaign./
Zipping by all your classes with straight A's./
Loved by all teachers and fellow students./
No more associated with babies,/
Proclaiming my greatly renown prudence./
Enough dreams, did I forget to mention?/
For right now, you are still in detention./
