The Transall Saga by Gary Paulsen.  Imagine you found a blue light and got teleported to a mysterious land and had to survive. Mark decides to go on a long hike up a giant mountain in the desert and a blue light takes Mark away and puts him in Transall. He is in mystery land and has to survive, but there is a lot of wildlife attacking him, and he doesn't have a lot of food or water. He has to survive, so he builds a giant treehouse. He has to find a place to keep safe and he finds a village with weird-looking people. Then he realizes there are a lot of villages in the Transall.  He goes on a bunch of adventures and is one of the best warriors in Transall.

It is a very good book. I liked all of it. It reminds me of Narnia. I loved reading Narnia and so I enjoyed it a lot. Gary Paulsen is a very good author. I hope I can read more of his work one day. He is great at describing what is going on. I feel like I could really tell what was going on. I could tell what everything looked like. I enjoyed it very much.
