The Book A Walk to Remember is about a preachers daughter, Amy. Whose mom died while giving birth to her. Her dad is very strict with her. She's not allowed to go out late at night or hang out with the wrong group at school. She wears very dull colors and is always carrying a Bible. Lance is classified as the school's badboy. He is forced to join the school's winter play, which Amy starts in. at first Lance doesn't want to do it and doesn't even try to learn his lines. Until he realize how important it was for Amy, so he asked her for help. First She wasn't sure if she wanted to help him because of his reputation.
