The book "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed is a very inspiring read. This novel talks about the journey Cheryl took to become the woman she was before she lost her mother. Her journey, hiking the Pacific Coast Trail (PCT), bruised and blistered her, but healed her pain from the loss of her old life. Along the way, she faced physical and emotional obstacles. Like losing her toenails from her ill fit shoes or crying for her mother she misses so extremely. The death of her mother pushed Cheryl to heroin and infidelity. This eventually caused the downfall of the remains of her old life. All the pain and loss she endured drove Cheryl to the PCT. This novel is very touching yet heartbreaking, and I definitely recommend it if you want to feel inspired.
